The Patrol Division is the largest uniformed services section of the department. Patrol officers respond to calls for service, proactively patrol neighborhoods, conduct traffic enforcement, engage in problem-solving techniques to improve quality of life for residents, and partner with the community through programs while building positive relationships.

Officers are assigned to one of four different 12-hour shifts, which are overseen by a Corporal and Sergeant. The Patrol Commander provides executive oversight over the entire Patrol Division. Officers operate Chevrolet Tahoes and Ford Explorers during their tours of duty.

In addition to four shift teams of officers, Reserve Police Officers also supplement the Patrol Division in a volunteer basis, as needed.
