The White Settlement Police Department provides an array of services to bolster community safety and connect with residents and business leaders.
Neighborhood Concern or Speeding Complaint?
Contact our patrol division for a neighborhood concern or to report speeding issues on residential streets. Complete this online form so that your issue can be investigated.

Code Enforcement | Class C Misdemeanor | City Ordinance | Animal | Fire Hazard Complaints
The City of White Settlement allows community members to report class C misdemeanors, city ordinance violations, animal issues, code enforcement issues, and fire hazards on a complaint form when these issues are not in progress or emergency situations. For in progress incidents that require a police officer, firefighter, animal control officer, or code enforcement officer, please contact our non-emergency at 817-246-4973 for Police, 817-246-1761 for Fire, 817-246-1043 for P.A.W.S. Animal Services, or 817-246-4971 for Code Enforcement. For emergencies, please dial 9-1-1.
Complainants may elect to remain anonymous as a reporting person or they can waive anonymity on the form. The form can be completed online or in-person and dropped off at City Hall located at 214 Meadow Park, the Fire Department located at 8308 Hanon Drive, or the Police Department (which also oversees P.A.W.S. Animal Services) located at 8900 Clifford Street.

Neighborhood Eyes (Consumer, commercial, or residential camera registration)
As a resident, tenant, or business owner, you have the opportunity to partner with us and notify our team of the existence of video camera systems that may be useful during criminal investigations. This is a voluntary registration program. In the event that a crime occurs near your registered location, a detective may reach out to have you check your camera footage.

Submit a Tip
The department works in coordination with the community to solve crimes. Many crimes are solved through community tips. Tipsters can submit an online tip through a secure portal. Tipsters can also submit a tip through Tarrant County Crime Stoppers or by calling 817-469-TIPS.
File a Report Online
The department is transitioning to online reporting for certain types of offenses. At this time, retail theft reports can be made online depending on certain criteria. Additional online reporting options will be coming soon.
Retail Theft Report
The department allows retail business to report theft cases via this packet. Contact the WSPD (817-246-4973) or 9-1-1 for emergencies IMMEDIATELY if:
- Retail theft is occurring NOW or has just occurred, or:
- The suspect is currently being DETAINED, or:
- The suspect physically RESISTED or was ARMED with a weapon, or any employee or bystander was injured, or:
- Retail theft was discovered at a later date (video review) AND the amount is determined to be OVER $2,500.
In cases where the suspect is NOT being detained, or, if there is any reporting delay as a result of store policy, procedures, or inability to make an expedient report, or retail theft was discovered at a later date (video review) and the amount is. under $2,500, store personnel are required to download and complete this packet. Incomplete packets will not be accepted or processed for criminal investigation.
DELAYED RETAIL THEFT REPORT PACKET
Crash (Accident) Reports
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is the custodian of crash records for the state of Texas. Texas Transportation Code 550.062 requires any law enforcement officers who in the regular course of duty investigates a motor vehicle crash that results in injury to or the death of a person or damage to the property of any one person to the apparent extent of $1,000 or more, to submit a written report of that crash to TxDOT not later than the tenth day after the date of the crash.

The White Settlement Police Department can also provide a written copy of a crash report for a fee $3 during normal lobby hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 8900 Clifford Street.
Fingerprinting
The department does not offer fingerprinting services.
Impounded Vehicles
Vehicles impounded by the police department are stored at A-1 Wrecker Service, located at:

You will need to present a valid Driver’s License and Proof of Ownership (Vehicle Title). Storage and towing fees must be paid to A-1 Wrecker Service before they will release the vehicle.
Open Records Request
Individuals may request information by completing this online form. The Records Division has 10 business days to fulfill the request. Please submit a telephone number with your request for contact purposes.
Detention Facility (Jail)
Individuals arrested by the police department are temporarily confined at the jail until transferred to the Tarrant County Jail or bond is posted. The White Settlement Police Department provides detention services for the cities of Westworth Village, Sansom Park, and Westover Hills. The department also accepts prisoners from the White Settlement I.S.D. Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security, ATF, and United States Marshal's Service.
Prisoner Visitation Hours
Due to the jail being classified as a temporary holding facility, no visitation or media interviews are authorized. Inmates have the opportunity to make telephone calls to family members, clergy, and attorneys.
Booking Photos (Mug Shots)
The department complies with all legitimate media request for inmate booking photos, when available. Email the media team for requests with a booking photo.
Sex Offender Information
Texas law requires adult and juvenile sex offenders to register with the police department if they reside in the city limits of White Settlement. Individuals shall come to the department and make an in-person appointment with the Records Manager during normal business hours. The manager can be reached via email to schedule an appointment.
