Find Your Beat
The City of White Settlement is divided into there distinct geographic beat areas and three additional special patrol districts.
GEOGRAPHIC BEAT AREAS
- Beat 1 includes the eastern side of the city from Meadow Park Drive and south of White Settlement Road. The area includes Spur 341 and S.H. 183 businesses including Walmart and Sam's Club.
- Beat 2 includes the northern side of the city with the dividing line north from White Settlement Road.
- Beat 3 includes the southwestern side of the city, west of Meadow Park Drive and south of White Settlement Road.
SPECIAL PATROL DISTRICTS
- Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth. Officers have concurrent jurisdiction to patrol, take enforcement action, and conduct traffic enforcement on military property with an agreement approved by the City of White Settlement and Department of Defense.
- Air Force Plant #4. Officers respond to requests for assistance from Lockheed Martin and patrol areas adjacent to federal Air Force property. The department works alongside the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Air Force Security Police Forces, and Lockheed Martin Security Forces.
- Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with City of Fort Worth. The department entered into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between WSPD Chief of Police Christopher Cook and Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes, including both cities, to actively patrol, respond, and enforce laws related to criminal activity along several areas that border both cities. This agreement affords authority by WSPD officers to conduct traffic enforcement and make arrests along the following jurisdictional areas:
- Interstate Highway 30
- Interstate Loop 820
- State Highway 183/Alta Mere
- Bomber Road
- Heron Drive
- Shoreview Drive
- The Point on Lake Worth
- Lake shore properties near Air Force Plant #4
- Areas commonly referred to as "Westpoint" in the 76108 zip code
- Areas along S. Cherry Lane and S. Las Vegas Trail in the 76116 zip code
- White Settlement I.S.D. properties and schools in Fort Worth
