Computer Center
The Library has 17 public computers, 4 of which are reserved for our teen patrons (13-19 years old). Currently, half of the computer stations are closed to accommodate social distancing. To use the computer center simply show valid photo ID at the front desk. Parents may use their ID to sign their minor children up for a computer account. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult while using the computers. Patrons are currently limited to 1 hour on the computer per day.
Library patrons with late fees of over $2.00 on their account will need to settle their account before using the computer center.
The computer center shuts down 30 minutes before the library closes each day.

TexShare Cards
Sponsored by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, TexShare is a program that allows members of participating libraries limited access to other participating libraries. Many other North Texas libraries are TexShare participants.
Residents of White Settlement who have had their White Settlement Library card for at least 6 months and have no current library fines may apply for a TexShare card. While non-residents are eligible for a White Settlement library card, they are not eligible to apply for a TexShare card through the White Settlement Library. To apply for a TexShare card, non-residents must go to their home library.

Interlibrary Loan
If the Library does not have a particular item, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). This is a service that allows libraries to borrow materials from one another. You must come to the front desk to fill out a request form, and a $3.02 per item Delivery Fee will be added to patron accounts for materials borrowed through ILL. Please be aware that rare items, new and popular items, and audiovisual materials may be unavailable. If for any reason we are unable to get an item delivered to us, you will not be charged the delivery fee. Standard overdue fines apply to ILL materials.
