Overdrive and Libby

If you have an active library card in good standing, you can access downloadable audiobooks and ebooks from the North Texas Libraries On-The-Go digital collection via Overdrive. Log in directly through Overdrive here, or navigate there through the library’s catalog here. Your screen should look like this:

Logging in to Overdrive

Click "Sign in" in the top right-hand corner and choose White Settlement Public Library from the drop-down menu. From there you’ll sign in with your library card number and phone number - just like logging in to the catalog.

Overdrive's mobile app is called Libby. You can use Libby to access the collection through your phone or tablet. The app will walk you through signing in the first time you open it. It will ask for a PIN, which is your phone number. Click here to watch a helpful video about how the app works.

TexShare Databases

Library patrons have free access to 68 databases and digital resources through the TexShare program, part of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. These include resources like free downloadable legal forms, auto repair manuals, practice exams, and much more.

Patrons with an active library card in good standing can access these resources by logging in to the library’s catalog here and navigating to the TexShare Databases link under "Electronic Resources".
