Park Hours

City parks are open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Ordinance Number 977)

Speed Limit

The speed limit in all parks is 10 miles per hour.

Rules & Regulations

• Alcohol is prohibited in the park (Ordinance Number 488)
• All pets outside of the softball complex and surrounding park areas must be on a leash. Owners are responsible for removing pet waste
• Firearms, airguns, fireworks prohibited
• Fishing is allowed during park operational hours. Trot lines and nets are prohibited
• Glass containers prohibited
• Grilling and/or cooking must be done 20 feet away from pavilion structures
• No dumping allowed (Ordinance Number 2304-07)
• No horseback riding allowed in the park
• No overnight parking
• No pets are allowed inside of the sports complex areas
• No recreational vehicles (RVs), camper trailers, or camper trucks in the park
• No soliciting allowed (Ordinance Number 874)
• Park in designated parking areas only. Motorized vehicles are prohibited on hiking trails or other park lands (Ordinance Number 384)
• Please observe parking fire lane areas throughout the park
• Skating, skate boarding, roller blading, bicycling, or scooters on hiking trail areas only
• Swimming, wading, and boating are prohibited. Model radio controlled boats are welcome
• Use trail courtesy. Stay to the right of the trail; pass on the left, cyclist and skaters yield to pedestrians
