John Griggs Park – is a 12 acre neighborhood park re-named and dedicated on November 25th, 1986 as John Griggs Park (formerly North Park) after fire chief John Griggs who served in the White Settlement fire department from 1954 – 1980. The park is located at 1201 North Las Vegas Trail at the corner of Shore View Drive. Adjacent to the park is a heavily wooded natural area that could be incorporated into the park system as a nature preserve with interpretive nature walking trials. Currently the park has the following amenities:
- 2 - Outdoor Tennis Courts (with full court basketball)
- Practice Backstop
- Park Entrance Signage
- Trash Receptacles
- Bench Court Seating
- Gravel Parking Area
