Online Budget Book goes live

budget book cover

We are very excited to announce that the Online Budget Book is now live. This is our debut project with the transparency software platform OpenGov and is the first of many projects we’ll be developing with this software. The Online Budget Book takes our annual budget book to the next level by giving users a plethora of interactive tools that allow you to drill deep into the budget information. The Online Budget Book highlights more than just numbers, it gives you a comprehensive view of operations, policies and financial plans and communicates them in an understandable and accessible way. Using the Online Budget Book, it’s easier than ever before to dive into the details of the budget and get a department by department view of the goals and objectives that are guiding the City in the current fiscal year and beyond. We hope you enjoy this new tool and look forward to hearing your feedback. Staff is hard at work on many more transparency initiatives utilizing OpenGov and we look forward to sharing those with you soon.
