Bulk pickup for the month of September begins on Monday, September 13. September bulk piles can be placed on the weekend prior (September 10 - 12). No bulk piles may be placed out for September after this weekend is over. Please remember, while bulk pickup takes time to be completed across the City, each resident is only allowed to place out one bulk pile each month. The City is working with Waste Connections to make sure that this service runs smoothly and efficiently and those violating bulk rules and procedures will be contacted by Code Compliance.
Bulk piles must not exceed 10 cubic feet in size (roughly the size of a VW Beetle)
Bulk piles must be placed away from obstacles such as mailboxes, parked cars, low hanging limbs/wires, etc
Bulk piles cannot contain tires, electronics, appliances, or hazardous materials
Bulk piles cannot contain materials generated from other locations
If you miss the bulk placement period for this month or have additional bulk that you need to get rid of there are more options available to you. Toward the end of each month the City holds a Community Clean Up event at the corner of Meadow Park and E. Melrose. This drop off bulk event provides a place for White Settlement residents to bring excess brush, limbs, and bulk items. The Community Clean Up event for September will be held on September 25th and 26th.
