News Flash

Thank you and congratulations to all of our participants for another successful Storybook Pumpkin Contest! Representatives of the Friends of the Library stopped by on Saturday, October 27 to decide the winners.  We had a total of 28 contestants this year, and everyone's pumpkins were all so wonderful and creative, so it was very difficult for the judges to whittle it down to just 8 winners.  Special congratulations to:

• Ava: Grand Prize in K-2nd for Minnie Mouse
  
• Patrick: Runner-up in K-2nd for Curious George
  
• Claire: Grand Prize in 3rd-5th for The Giving Tree
  
• Charis: Runner-Up in 3rd- 5th for The Princess and the Pea
  
• Daryn: Grand Prize in 6th-12th for Peanuts
  
• Angel: Runner-Up in 6th-12th for The Grinch
  
• Donald: Grand Prize in Adult for Elephant & Piggie
  
• Sandra: Runner-Up in Adult for Dobby
