[ARCHIVED] Storybook Pumpkin Contest

Storybook Pumpkin Contest 2020

Entries for the library's annual Storybook Pumpkin Contest are due on Sunday, October 25. The Library building remains closed to the public, so pumpkins will be displayed on the City of White Settlement Facebook page instead of at the library. To participate, decorate a pumpkin as your favorite storybook character and send a photo to wspubliclibrary@wstx.us with your name, the name of your pumpkin character, and your age category. If you'd like to, please include  a second photo of yourself with your pumpkin!

Age categories are: PreK-2nd Grade, 3rd-6th Grade, 7th-12th Grade, and Adults. There will be a Grand Prize and a Runner-Up in each category.

Entries must be painted, not carved! To decorate, you can use paint, paper, glue, pipe cleaners, fabric, or other craft items. Be creative!

Entries MUST BE RECEIVED by the end of the day on Sunday, October 25. They will be posted on the City of White Settlement Facebook page for voting on Monday, October 26 and winners will be announced on Friday, October 30.
