[ARCHIVED] Homebound Service

Homebound Service

The White Settlement Library is excited to announce its new Homebound Service! Beginning in March 2020, the Library will make weekly deliveries of library materials to the homes of eligible patrons.

This service is available to patrons who:

  • are residents of the City of White Settlement
  • are over 60 years of age
  • are unable to visit the library either temporarily, due to illness or accident, or permanently due to disability, age, or other mobility issues
  • have a library card in good standing (if the patron does not have a library card, or if it is expired or has fines, the staff member who makes the initial delivery will require the patron to fill out or update their application and pay any outstanding fines)

There are a limited number of slots available for this service. If there are no available slots at the time you apply, you will be placed on a waiting list.

If you or someone you know is interested in this program, please download and read the full policy here (PDF) before applying. Apply online here, or fill out the application included with the policy and either mail it or have it dropped by the library at 8215 White Settlement Road.
