The National Association of Town Watch notified the White Settlement Police Department that the agency placed 6th in Texas and 18th in the nation and received the 2025 National Night Out Award for community populations between 15,000 and 50,000 residents. This is the fourth consecutive year that the department received a national award for the National Night Out activities hosted by the city.
“This award belongs to our community and the incredible level of support that our residents provide to our public safety team," said Chief of Police Christopher Cook. "This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication and commitment to our community engagement programs that seek to bolster trust, raise citizen awareness, and connect residents with local police officers, city officials, federal law enforcement, and military personnel."
This annual event is managed by the Strategic Communications Team led by Corporal Laura Gonzalez.
