The White Settlement Police Department was notified by the National Association of Town Watch that the agency placed 19th across the entire nation for cities with a population between 15,000 and 50,000 residents. The community joined together on October 3, 2023 at Veterans Park to take a stand against crime and get to know their neighbors along with city officials.
"This award and recognition belongs to the community," said Chief of Police Christopher Cook. "I want to also recognize the hard work by Detective Laura Gonzalez and Officer Jonathan Loser to ensure that this would be the biggest party of the year."
