Welcome
We would like to extend a friendly welcome to you from the White Settlement Senior Service Department. We are operated by the City of White Settlement with assistance from Sixty and Better (formerly Senior Citizen Services of Greater Tarrant County Incorporated)
Purpose
The purpose is to enable senior adults to live independently with dignity by providing a schedule of activities such as:
Classes
Health screenings
Information and referral
Meals
Recreation
Transportation
Volunteer jobs and much more
Eligibility
Eligibility is available to anyone 60 years of age or older or anyone married to someone 60 or older regardless of your age
Membership Fees
Membership fees are not required
Volunteers
Over 30 different volunteer positions are available in the center and community. Some of the positions include:
Counting lunch money
Greeting and taking visitors on tours
Making crafts
Serving on the Center Council
Singing in the choir
Teaching classes
Visiting area nursing homes
Wiping tables
Working at the front desk
Working in the kitchen

Senior Services is celebrating over 40 years of service. Since 1977, we have been striving to provide excellence in programming as well as provide assistance where possible in order to brighten the lives of senior adults.
