Animal Control

The purpose of the Animal Control department is to handle animal-related public safety and public health issues and to assist with animal-related code enforcement issues.

We love helping you find your next family pet as here at the White Settlement Animal Shelter we believe pets are for life. If you would like to see the cats and dogs we currently have available for adoption, visit us at the Animal Shelter and we’ll be glad to assist you. Adoptions cost $35 and that includes a microchip for your new pet. State law also requires new pet owners to get their pet spayed or neutered.

Lost & Found

Losing a family pet can be a very scary and sad time. We’re here to help at the Animal Shelter. If you’ve lost your pet, there are several things to do. Checking with neighbors is a great first step and if that doesn’t help, checking with us is also a good idea. If your pet is microchipped you can get in touch with the microchipping company. There are also many communities on Facebook and other social media outlets that can be used to post about your missing pet. If all else fails, reach out to us and we’ll do all we can to assist you!
